Kellee Adams is a landscape designer who has been experimenting with design and plants for much of her lifetime. The success of her designs result from combining the unique needs of her clients with the specific climate of California.

In the '80s, Kellee became a co-owner of a business that farmed 20 acres of organic vegetables and fruits in Eugene, Oregon. Later, they founded the Organically Grown Co-op, which is now one of the largest organic produce distributors on the West Coast. Kellee moved to the Bay Area and received a degree in Graphic Design from California College of the Arts and furthered her studies at UC Berkeley in Landscape Architecture.

Kellee’s experience, as both a designer and farmer, has enabled her to implement a conceptual, yet simple, style of landscape. She applies her knowledge of the Mediterranean plant pallet to create sustainable, low water and low maintenance gardens. Due to her understanding the soil and climate needs of a wide variety of unique and edible plants, her landscapes are places of pure beauty and joy.

In 2016, The Wave Garden was archived into the Smithsonian Institute's library of noted landscapes. This garden continues to provide inspiration and pleasure locally and worldwide reaffirming Kellee's vision and sustainable approach.
